Bows
Bows should always be loosened after playing. Generally, bows will need to be re-haired once a year or when you see that the hair starts to darken. Watch for hair breakage in the middle of the bow as this can indicate the presence of bow bugs. These small bugs eat bow hair and live in the darkness of cases. If bow bugs are detected you should bring the bow to Jent’s technician immediately to be repaired and vacuum the case thoroughly. Place the open case in strong but indirect sunlight for a few days to eliminate the bugs, or purchase a new case from Jent’s.
